Coercivity measurement and magnetization equipment
1. Overview
Relay iron core, yoke, armature and other magnetic materials, such as electric energy meter compensation sheet, are mainly electrical pure iron, low carbon steel, iron nickel alloy. Coercivity HC value is an important parameter of these magnetic materials. The coercivity value is not only related to the material, but also to the mechanical stress and heat treatment process in the machining process. In other words, the coercivity of magnetic materials with the same material will vary greatly due to many factors in the processing process. For relay manufacturers, the coercivity value is directly related to the quality of relay products. Similarly, in the production of mechanical watt hour meters, the coercivity value of the compensation piece is also directly related to the meter adjustment effect of watt hour meters, affecting the output and quality of products. Therefore, the coercivity measuring instrument is a necessary equipment for relay, watt hour meter manufacturers and other electrical pure iron and low carbon steel manufacturers to measure the coercivity of magnetic materials with open magnetic circuit.
2. Purpose of instrument
The instrument is mainly used to measure the coercivity of ferromagnetic materials such as magnetic parts of relays and compensation pieces of mechanical electric energy meters. It is an ideal equipment for manufacturers such as relays and electric energy meters to improve product quality.
At the same time, through improvement, the soft Valley Xu laboratory has designed a circuit to control the intensity of the magnetization field, which can not only measure the material, but also correct it.
3. Instrument features
This instrument uses the vibration coil weak magnetic field gradient measurement sensor as the zero flux detection. The sensor has the characteristics of high sensitivity, which is two orders of magnitude higher than the fluxgate magnetometer.
In terms of hardware and software, the instrument adopts advanced technologies such as correlation operation, digital filtering, fuzzy algorithm and so on, so it has strong anti-interference ability.
With industrial control computer, the instrument has high reliability.
The magnetic parts of the product can be measured directly without making standard samples. All technical indicators meet the national standard gb3656-83.
Coercivity value and surface residual magnetization can be measured.
The relative hysteresis loop of ferromagnetic materials in the open-loop state can be animated, and the data can be recorded automatically. different magnetization time can be selected to meet the needs of different users for measuring speed.
When measuring the coercivity value, the zero crossing detection is really realized. the instrument has good repeatability and high stability.

5. Working principle
This instrument is used to measure the coercivity of soft magnetic material parts under the condition of open magnetic circuit. In Figure 1, the industrial computer first applies the magnetizing current through the magnetizing current wire to control the magnetizing field, so that the tested sample is magnetized to the saturated BS state. Then gradually withdraw the magnetization field. Because magnetic materials have post magnetic effect, when the applied magnetization field is zero, the magnetization of magnetic materials is not zero, and there is residual magnetization br. At this time, the reverse magnetization field is controlled by the industrial computer to make the residual magnetization br of the tested sample zero. At this time, the intensity of the reverse magnetization field is the coercivity HC value of the soft magnetic material. Due to the irregular shape of some parts, the forward magnetization measurement and reverse magnetization measurement can be used respectively, and then the average value can be taken as the coercivity of the material. All the above measurement processes are automatically completed by the industrial computer, and the relative hysteresis loop of the open magnetic circuit measurement results is drawn.
